I purchased a USB hub for my iPad Pro. Plugged it into the power port and inserted a flash drive but the drive did not appear on the desktop. Am I doing something wrong?

Open the Files App.
The sidebar is on the left.
Within the sidebar you will see individual headed sections - entitled Files, Locations, Favourites and Tags. Each section can be expanded, or collapsed, with a simple tap.
With the Locations section expanded - and your USB storage connected your iPad - you should see your storage device appear in the list of locations.

When using external USB storage, you’ll not see the drive as an item on your iPad Home Page. If correctly formatted, you should see the storage appear in the Locations section of the Files App sidebar.

Thanks LotusPilot for you answer but I have to admit that everything you said after "you should see the storage appear in" is complete Greek to me. I'm old and not very computer saavy.

USB flash drive is not appearing when connected to my iPad.
