What could cause Universal Control to forget the setup?

On my desk I have a MBP 16" (2019, Intel), a Mac Studio and an iPad Pro all on latest released OS:es (Monterey and iPad OS 15.5. Running Universal Control from the MBP.

For most of the time all works amazingly well but about once every second day the setup if forgotten all displays line up on a row with the Mac Studio sometimes to the right and sometimes to the left.

This happens without any device being removed from the desk nor rebooted. A controlled turning off of any device works as expected, for example when restarting a device it re-appears in the correct place. Taking the iPad for a walk and returning to the desk works as well.

I am wondering if display sleep on any Mac could cause this? Using an Apple Store-sold LG 24" on the MBP and a Philips USB-C on the Mac Studio.

Anyone else seeing this?
