FCPX Backup Library Deletion
I heard that FCPX deletes backup libraries that are more than several days old. Is this true, or will Final Cut always keep at least one backup for emergencies?

FCP doesn't keep all the backups it generates, but it doesn't dump older backups. It works sort of like Time Machine, keeping representative backups, I guess the ones with the most data changes. It also keeps backups from previous versions of the applications in a separate folder.

So basically, if my project gets deleted, there will always at least be a backup of the latest version saved. Is that right?
It may not be the very latest version. To ensure you have the latest version export an XML either of the project or the library.
FCP saves backup databases of libraries not of individual projects.
