I am getting a refurbished Apple Watch series 3 gps cellular on eBay. I am switching to t-mobile on my iPhone so I can have a data plan for my Apple Watch so I can use it away from my phone. When I get the Apple Watch s3 am I able to get a t-mobile data plan for $10 a month when I switch? Since the series 3 is an old model can I still use T-Mobile for a data plan????

Hello there,
As it turns out, adding cellular service did not become an available hardware feature until the Series 4 Apple Watch, so you will have limited use (anything data related) when away from your iPhone or Wi-Fi.
Would not personally recommend investing on a Series 3, battery could be heavily degraded by now depending on how long the owner has been in possession of it and it will also not be supported by the upcoming watchOS 9 update in the fall.
