I dont have an apple computer anymore

I was notified that someone tried to log into my iCloud but i havent had a Mac in quite a while am I have changed my gmail and Apple ID just lately

this is not your primary icloud account On my old iMac ios Yosemite and on my iPad I cannot sign in to iCloud but can use my apple ID everywhere else successfully--the message on my Mac has been there for 8 or so years and never resolved. I've heard to delete iCloud and then reinstall, but I don't want to lose what's on there and I really don't want to change my Apple password--just want to find out what my primary account is or if that message itself is a glitch.
