Can I store (and use) a shortcut from my home folder?

If so, how to move the shortcut there?

Also, how do I get the path to a shortcut that's been created?

Create a Shortcut (App) to Open Files and Navigate to folder Looking for a way to create a Shortcut that will open the Files app and navigate to a specific folder but not select any files. I got the shortcut to open Files but the shortcut stops and I can’t seem to find which function actually opens the designated path. any ideas? I can’t seem to find anything by searching the internet.

You could add the Shortcut to Quick Access (from inside the app) or add it to your Dock for easy access.

To add to Quick Access, click and drag it into the "Quick Access" area shown here-

To add it to the Dock, right click on the Shortcut, then press "Add to Dock"-
