Cannot access my apple watch due to passcode issues

Hi, I need urgent assistance. My phone has been stuck on "wrong passcode, open the apple watch app n your iPhone to re-enable". The watch app has both those options greyed out. I have tried all the youtube ways of resetting but I cannot. When resetting using the iPhone, I get an error stating that I must ensure my watch is next to my phone and not on flight mode. I tried using the side button on the watch to use the switch-off button but did not get the option to erase or reset. Please can someone help.
