Using a USB Bluetooth dongle to connect my mouse and keyboard with my M1 Mac Mini

After getting the M1 Mac Mini, I have the A4tech wireless mouse and keyboard that comes with 1 USB Bluetooth dongle. I was using it before getting the mac and it is working fine. Used it on my Mac Mini and after a month, it started lagging. It stuttering or I don't know really how you called it. It is like the mouse pointer is lagging just by moving and scrolling sometimes does not work. The keyboard, when typing will not input characters as well as delete them. I am using now a wired keyboard and it is working fine, however, the mouse, I'm still using wireless as I don't have a wired mouse available at the moment. Is this an issue as well for the USB Bluetooth dongle to just stopped working properly after a month? I tried it on my Windows laptop and it is working fine.

Mac mini, macOS 12.4
