Capital letters in password field

Capital letters are not recognized in the AppleID password text entry which is drawing-only. I HAVE SEEN THE ANSWERS SAYING TURN THE DIGITAL CROWN. Turning the Digital Crown only moves the cursor backwards and forwards in the password field.

Can’t close numeric keyboard to hit the “Next” button.. Hi, sometimes there is a numerical keyboard in certain applications that pops up with no way to close it. Are there any work around for this? In this instance the Chipotle app is asking for a one time passcode. Once I click on the text box to input the number, there is no way to close the keyboard that pops up, and therefore no way to click “Verify” to continue signing in. Is this an issue with the app or and iOS issue? Is there a way I can work around to get to the “Verify” button!”? Thanks for your help

Hi agnyc,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with using Scribble to make capital letters. We'd like to help.

When you are writing out your password, are you tapping on the word and then turning the Digital Crown? Doing so will place a green outline about the word and allow you to look at other ways of writing that word. Does that help you with finding the correct one you're trying to type?

If not, let us know a little more about the issue and we'll go from there.
