Partially setup with Language and passcode. Had to stop at that point, and now unable to use codes that I thought would work. I’m now at the point where device giving me “15 Minute Timeouts” and do not want to go any further for fear of perpetual lockout! FYI…SIM not installed as yet. This is a costly mistake on my part if forum unable to help.

Just reset the phone to factory settings and start over:

After restoring the phone using one of the methods above you can restore your most recent backup.
