sierra download

where can I download sierra? I have a 2007 mac pro desktop that recently crashed. I boot up in disk utility and was trying to do a new install for Sierra. A message popped up saying my computer needs to be verify by apple. I tried finding a install for sierra but no luck. what are my options with getting my macos to work?
