TLS 1.2

My web host indicated I had to start using TLS 1.2 (older versions will be deactivated). I think they are referring to my email contacts on my Iphone7. How do I know which IOS version uses TLS 1.2?

iPhone 7, iOS 15

Not exactly. They are referring to the web browser on your iPhone. Most, if not all browsers available on an iPhone (especially running iOS 15.x) are using TLS 1.2 for secure (https) connections to web sites.
