My Mac Studio Display was working fine since purchase (March) but audio keeps cutting out after a few seconds of playing a video, etc.

I think you just need to unplug the studio display for about 10 seconds and then plug it back in to reboot the iOS in the Studio Display. I don't think the issue is on the Mac side at least for me, that seemed to be the root cause. I do not know of any option to initiate an iOS reboot on the Studio Display without disconnecting the power. If someone else knows that it might come in handy if the issue returns.
And given I lost power yesterday, it seems my countdown clock to having the issue is reset again. :)

Unplugging the Apple Studio Displays didn't work for me. Still having to run audio through the Mac Studio.
Not the thunderbolt cable, has to be the power. When you plug it back in, you should see the three dots showing the internal iOS is booting.
YES!! That worked.. I was unplugging the Thunderbolt and not the power. I forgot that the display actually had to boot up.. Thanks for the help!
