use this iphone to reset your Apple ID password

I got a message on my phone that says "Reset Password. Use this iphone to reset your Apple ID password". In all the years I've owned an iPhone, I have never gotten this before. Does this mean I've been hacked or that someone is phishing? My phone is now locked and I can't do anything on it until I reset the password

Try changing the password on the website.
