battery query

i bought my iphone 13 pro max last july 1 2022. i charge it exactly 2 times until july 10, 2022. yesterday was my second time charging it and the whole day after it was fully charged i haven’t used it. Until now i saw my battery it was 46%. is it possible that my new brought iphone 13 pro max went the battery 100% to 46% for a day without using it?

yeah that's possible.. It could be backing up your iPhone or updating apps etc overnight..

Leave your iPhone plugged in when not in use would be the easiest solution.


it looks like the Mail app is at the top of the usage list..

If you go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data, I typically turn off Push and then down below under Fetch I check Manually. If yours is set to every 15 minutes, you could also change to Hourly.

For me, this means is that in order to check for new emails, I need to go into the Mail app and swipe down to refresh the inbox. But that doesn't bother me because most of the emails I get are ads anyways.
