Hello everyone,
The past week i cannot download ANY pdf file. Using firefox, never faced such problem before, no changes to the mac, or recent updates.
Has anybody faced a similar problem?

Is it only Firefox you have a problem with? Does Safari work?
Programs from their original site - including acrobat reader.

Nothing happens when i try. Not responding to anything. The program associations have not been altered. In fact, they are identical with my laptop, where everything works without a glitch.
Download them from where? What happens when you try?
Your original question said you can't download PDF files. Is is Adobe apps you can't download or PDF files?
I cannot replicate it yet. Was not working with Chrome either. Will try tomorrow Safari and come back to you one way or another.
