The scanner was working fine. I reloaded the OS and could add the Pixma printer no problem, but the scanner doesn't show up.
Cannon website says there are no drivers for this OS.
But it worked last week on this system.
I've tried several solutions, including downloading a driver package - but that showed that they were not required for Big Sur - and also lacked the scanner.

when I click on your link and choose macos 11 then it display 3 drivers
