How do i know what file format a song are in, before i buy it on itunes?

So i have noticed that some songs on itunes is in m4aa format instead of mp3 or wav. My music players doesn't support m4aa. And it would be nice to know what format the song is in before i buy it.

Apple doesn't offer anyway to know this unfortunately.


You can however convert the downloaded files from m4a or AAC to MP3 directly with iTunes before moving them to your music player.
