Mail error message on iPhone 11

On my iPhone11 I recently stopped getting emails from individuals with gmail addresses . When I refresh I get an error message:

Account error: Cox

Cannot Get Mail. No password provided for "Cox"

After putting correct password into Mail Account Settings for Cox, I still get the same error message.

Have you been able to sign in to the email providers website to be sure your password is correct? If so, try removing the account and adding it back. Those steps can be found under "Remove your email account and set it up again" here: If you can't receive email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


If you're not able to sign in to their website with your password, you'll want to reach out to them to look into this a bit more. Keep us posted.
