New iPad stolen by porch pirate

I purchased an iPad from Amazon during Prime Day. It was left without signature at my door and a porch pirate stole it. I doubt that this is possible, but Is there a way to track it and stop it from being able to be used? Shipping was insured through Amazon so I did get a refund. But I don’t want the thief to be able to use it.

Sorry, this happened. The only way an iPad/iPhone can be tracked is if it had been set up and Find My turned on. Apple does NOT get involved in lost or stolen devices at all. There's unfortunately, not much, if anything you can do about the loss. I would file a police report. And hopefully, you have a doorbell or video camera system which would has a recording you can turn over to the authorities? If you don't have video or doorbell cameras, I can't recommend enough to get one.
