Transferred from old Mac to new Mac… now what?

I just transferred my data from my old MacBook Pro to my new Mac.book pro. I signed in to my new Mac, but it’s just spinning? And since it’s the log on page, there isn’t anything I can force quit or do. It’s been trying to log me on for about 20 minutes now.

You can always force quit a shutdown by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.

Force Shut down your Mac.
