UK charger on a US device
My school in the UK does not allow adaptors in the old dorms, asks students to just buy the UK version of chargers to charge US Apple devices. Will that be safe for my phone and Macbook Air?

Yes you’ll be in good shape.
Any Apple power adaptor generates the same DC “output” voltage(s) - what actually goes into your device - irregardless of the input voltage / frequency from the building’s receptacle.
The school is likely restricting “plug style” adaptors on safety grounds …
… there indeed ARE many cheap/knockoff “plug adaptors” available of questionable and/or suspect quality/safety.
