Apple Watch vs. MyZone chest monitor
I have a new Apple Watch SE and the calories burned are low compared to wearing my heart rate monitor. I noticed that this on my spin bike but I also just did a 50 min. workout DVD with Apple Watch that I also did awhile ago with the MyZone strap and the watch shows about half the calories than MyZone. It’s the same work out and I know it felt the same effort as usual and my average heart rate was the same for both so it’s not that it’s reading the heart rate wrong. Also, both MyZone and Apple watch have my age, weight, etc. Thoughts?!
