Dock moving to other monitor

Why does a random swipe on the trackpad (not mouse) move the dock to the external monitor positioned above? And how do I get it back down?

Dock moves to second monitor I have the same problem a lot of people have with the unwanted movement of the dock to the second monitor. I tried, as has been suggested, holding the mouse on the lower part of the primary screen, but that doesn't move the dock back. I am using the latest os.

How do I keep the Dock at the bottom of my main screen when using a secondary monitor? So I purchased a small 12.3 narrow IPS Screen to set below my main computer screen in order to watch content on it without interrupting my main screen. It works great but I am unable to keep the "dock" at the bottom of the main screen. I can lock the dock to the right or left of the main screen but NOT the bottom of the main screen as it always jumps to the bottom of little tiny screen below. So now when I use Launchpad to open an app, it opens in the little screen with absolutely useless tiny icons. While I am not a fan of having my dock on the right or left it does work that way. In settings, the Menu Location does work, but there is just no way to select the main screen as the "bottom" for the Dock. This sucks and it kinda ruined the purpose of buying the little screen. Apple the Dock is horrible in multiple monitor setup Dock keeps moving back to Mac book pro. I just moved back to Mac at work, Mac Book Pro M2 with a dock and 2 monitors. Why did Apple not think people would use multiple monitors and want it the same every time. This and home the macOS treats multiple monitors are my only complaints but the dock not being on every screen, staying on my main display after restart and not easy to move makes this a horrible journey back to Apple. Is there an app or other way to make Dock behave?

if one moves the cursor to the bottom mid part of a monitor for some secs the dock will move to that monitor
