Dock moves to second monitor

I have the same problem a lot of people have with the unwanted movement of the dock to the second monitor. I tried, as has been suggested, holding the mouse on the lower part of the primary screen, but that doesn't move the dock back. I am using the latest os.

The dock is on the bottom. I really don't want to hide the dock as I use it a lot. I just want it to stay on the primary screen. Thanks for your reply.

Where is the Dock? Bottom?

It should appear when hold your pointer at the bottom…

Try checking the automatic hiding of the Dock. There is no need to having it wasting screen space when not in use (ie, all the time!)

It also seems to make its appearance on the right display more consistent.

Alternatively, consider putting it on the side. Not only there is a lot more horizontal than vertical space in two displays; in this case the Dock always stays in the same display.
