I've read older articles about this but does anyone now how to stop the dock from moving from monitor to monitor? Super frustrating and it actually happens when I click on an application on the correct monitor (my 27" external) and it then randomly jumps to the MBP "15 monitor.

If you still want to keep it at the bottom though, you can make sure the Mission Control settings has the "Displays have separate spaces" unchecked.

Try Apple menu > System Preferences, then navigate to the Dock section. Find the option called Position on screen and set it to either Left or Right.
I believe this locks the Dock to one screen.
I would like to keep at the bottom and thank you for this suggestion
