Apple Card SCRA Benefits

Had anyone had luck applying SCRA benefits to their Apple Card? I asked the question months ago, and was just notified by Apple today, that I am ineligible. Seems odd, because the AMEX platinum didn’t say that, nor did any other card I own.

Goldman Sachs Bank will ask you to apply with them and you’ll be asked to prove active duty. Your interest rate will be dropped to 6% per Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Many other benefits of SCRA are already included with the card such as no foreign transaction fees, no late fees, no annual fee and no service fee. So, the real benefit is the lower interest rate.

I’ve seen posts by active duty military members on Reddit and Facebook saying they received the benefit from Goldman Sachs. I think there might have been some confusion and denial of benefits based on when the Apple Card account was opened, debt occurred and service member was active. Here is a link to help determine eligibility.
