Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I am trying to download GarageBand from the Mac App Store. The download has been stuck on "Waiting..." for a while. I restarted the computer, which didn't work, so I also did a new install of macOS, but the issue persists. I seem to also be having a problem downloading other apps from the App Store. Any idea as to what could be causing it?

Contact Apple Support:
If you're not getting a successful download, then . contact Apple, requesting to speak with iTunes Store Staff. If need be, perform a screensharing session with them, so they can see this from your perspective.

I've done 1, 3, 4, and 5. (#2 doesn't apply, since I'm not updating it.) I found a workaround by downloading it onto another Mac, then AirDropping it to mine, but if I have this problem again I guess I'll have to contact Apple.
