I have a recurring error whereby iMessage on my iPhone SE (running IOS 15.5) keeps signing out on its own. I get an error message telling me this has happened and prompting me to sign back in, which I do, but in the meantime messages don’t sync properly between my different devices (iPad, Mac, watch). Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? Thanks

Are you using a a pre-paid SIM?
First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency that issued the SIM to you
If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS Only)

Does your iPhone have continuous access to data (either WiFi or cellular)? If it doesn't, it will eventually log itself out of iMessage.
Yes, it’s always got either WiFi or mobile data on. I can’t figure out any pattern as to when this is happening, it just seems to be every couple of days
