It is completely likely that Apple decided NOT to fix this in order to force people to buy new hardware -- If the old stuff works, why buy new ? After all how much CPU power do you need to read email ? In the time I have written this , (UN) TrustedPeersHelper has crashed 12 times and ++ --

I'll post ( 13 times) - (14 times) .... give me a sec -- simply delete the darn app and let's move on.

Again forcing people who can't upgrade to Monterey to buy a new computer and dump this perfectly fine computer (only because of coerced software issues) to be 'maybe' recycled on annual town electronics recycle day, (for a fee, never free to recycle electronics) however most of components will wind up in a landfill. I have 3 'old ' mac desktops that are useless in my house because of this same forced software issue Apple continues with. Computers need to be partitioned, not designed unfriendly, poor repair design like cars. They should easily be upgraded. Keeping the housing and able to replace every component from the glass and LED screen underneath to the boards and drives and power supplies inside. Apple should sell components, not just tell you buy a new one for $4,000 every 3 years because we plan to design the OS to outdate your computer so we dont have to support Catalina anymore...etc etc ad infinitum
