Using Apple TV with Limited or No Wi-Fi

We live in Alaska and go camping a lot of different places. We have an Apple TV in our camper and would like to watch TV off line or find a way to boost the different campground’s Wi-Fi to extend the range so we can stream. It works great when it’s parked close to the signal but we can rarely get close.

Xfinity Stream on Apple TV 4K The new Xfinity Stream app on the Apple TV 4K device is seriously flawed. In order to watch live TV, the Apple TV device must be connected through Xfinity wi-fi. This makes no sense if you are at a different location other than home. The app works fine anywhere on mobile devices such as the iPad. As the device is an Internet streaming product it needs an Internet connection.
