13 inch 2018 MBP locked up

Something odd has happened to my 'new' 2018 13 inch MBP (OS is Big Sur) - everything is locked up, keyboard, mouse pad clicks, task bar . I can use both the trackpad and mouse to move the cursor but I can't click on anything at all. On my older MBP this would also happen but I could turn it off, wait a bit and turn it back on - completely unfrozen. But on the 2018 there is no On/Off button! I was able to do the control-option-escape step to get the Force Quit box, but I can't click on anything. Is there another 'secret' key combination that would safely break it free or turn off the MBP completely, then turn on when lifting the cover?

Hey ku4hx, thanks for the link to the 9 to 5 article, which I read thoroughly-that's a sneaky place to put the power button! Hide it in plain sight. I think I'll subscribe to 9 to 5. Actually I solved my problem late last night. The cursor was still operative so I just started clicking it around and was able to open a fe app's on the Tool Bar. Then they showed up in he Force Quit box which I had been unable to close, but it looked active. So I opened a few more app's, then closed them and finally got down to Safari which I think was the locked up app. It closed too and all is well now. I'll have to watch for whatever locked up Safari though.

Tnx and 72/73 de k1qed, qrp 4evr!
