Warranty issue

I bought an Apple Pencil 4 days ago and it shows purchase date not validated when I put the serial number in . I bought it from a local store as there are no official Apple stores in my country . I bought an iPad Air 5 alongside it and it’s date has been been validated . What should I do to start my pencil’s warranty ?

No registration is required to activate the AppleCare warranty for your Apple Pencil. In the event of making a warranty claim, your purchase receipt is sufficient to prove the start-date of your warranty.


If you purchased your Apple Pencil at the same time as your iPad, should you choose to add the optional AppleCare+ plan (if available in your region) for your iPad, your Apple Pencil will be also benefit from this enhanced cover.
