3 finger drag cursor sticking issue

Almost every time I drag windows around using 3 finger drag, the cursor gets "stuck" to the window. So the next tap I make drags/jumps the window away to a different location on the screen. Incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know a fix for this? Any idea at all? Brand new 2021 Macbook Pro 16 inch, m1 pro chip. It only happens with trackpads using 3 finger drag (which i use CONSTANTLY), it doesn't happen with mouses. It's so frustrating I just want to return it after waiting 2 months for it to arrive.

Mouse hover and click not working after Sequoia 15.3 update on MacBook Pro Since yesterday evening, my mouse has been having an odd problem, where the normal ability to see certain things while hovering over an option no longer appears, which can result in certain functions in drop down menus being annoying to access. Additionally, in some cases, the mouse is no clicking at first, and I have to click a second time, or the mouse clicks where I last clicked, despite the cursor being in a different location. At first, I assumed the problem would be with my mouse, however I have since tried 3 different mouses, and all have the same problem. The problem is similar to the one described in the following prior apple support link, except mine is not fixed with a mouse change. Mouse hover doesn't work - Apple Community . I am using Sequoia 15.3, the most recent update, on a MacBook pro computer with an Apple M3 pro chip. Any help would be appreciated [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Trackpad - drag and drop issues I have a MacBook Pro 14" (2021, M1). The trackpad does not work properly on occasion - specifically, the ability to drag and drop files from one location to another is not possible for some files and unreliable for others. The issue is intermittent and is occurring on OS 12.5 and the previous version. A restart does not fix this issue, nor does it appear to be an issue with permissions. However, using an external mouse there is no problem ... and interestingly, once an external mouse has been connected the trackpad starts working properly again, until the problem reappears at some later date. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue permanently? Rob
