iPad being held “in warehouse”?

I live in a greater metropolitan area in Canada. My iPad has been stuck “in warehouse” (in my city) for over a day now. Last tracking update was a warehouse scan. When I spoke to UPS, I was told its a customs issue and it’s out of their hands. There’s no ETA anymore from UPS or Apple.

Has anyone (especially Canadians) encountered similar issues? If so, how long did yours take to resolve?

I'm sure plenty of people have had similar issues. But typically not two shipping delay issues are the same. I know you're looking for some comfort here, but honestly, whether anyone else has or hasn't had this happen, really won't help you, when your iPad is with UPS directly.

Catsneezes, I understand you being anxious to receive your new iPad. I was in the same situation, although mine was in 2020. My iPad was stuck in Alaska for approx. 3 days before I saw any movement at all, and UPS was not too helpful saying it was a customs problem, but not much more.

I think it is all a staffing problem. Just hang in there and keep checking, it will all work out.
