CalDav password

I recently changed my Google password and now I am getting a CalDav incorrect password error on my iPhone and iPad. I have entered and re-entered my new Google password 15 times, being really careful to type it exactly right, and it keeps rejecting it. Now I can't use the calendar on my phone. It's obviously a common problem - is there a straightforward fix?

Hello Paperhanger1,

You've walked through great steps to ensure your calendar continues to sync as expected. It sounds as though you've updated your email password in Settings > Calendar > Accounts. In addition to those steps, have you deleted and re-added the email? If not, tap Delete Account, once removed, tap Add Account in Settings > Calendar Accounts, and follow the prompts to sign in to your Google account. You can also find these step in the following article.
