Volume level in Speak Text Shortcuts action

I’m creating a shortcut to speak the battery charge level where I unplug from a charger. Because I don’t want this to be loud, I “Set volume to 10%”, then have the Shortcut “Speak Text” where Text contains battery level. However, no matter what value I set the volume to, Speak Text is always at full volume. This is true too when I manually set the volume before the Shortcut is run. Anyone have any ideas?

P.S. Regarding Shortcuts' Set volume action, according to this Reddit thread "It only affects music volume":

Set Volume and Speak Text : shortcuts

By the way, you can say to Siri:

"What's your volume?" and "Set your volume to 30." (or other %.)

me ~ I have the same problem on my iPhone 11 Pro Max | iOS 15.6. Siri appears to ignore the Set volume action and speak at his/her previously set volume.

To change Siri's previously set volume: Ask Siri to tell you a joke or recite a poem and, while she is speaking, decrease the volume. Then next time Siri should speak at that volume.

This won't fix the Set volume bug in Shortcuts, but at least you won't have to listen to the battery level at full volume.
