Just bought a mini and need a monitor. Constraint of maximum height if 17” of clearance in desk space. Home use only - no design or special graphics capabilities needed. Help?

Most any aftermarket display will work with the Mac Mini.

Connect a display to Mac mini - Apple Support

Take your tape measure to your local Electronic's Retailer (Best Buy, OfficeMax, Staples, etc...) and check the height of the 24" displays. If the 24" displays are more than 17" tall, look at some 22" models.

If you are shopping on-line, the display height with stand is listed in the spec's.

For example the following 24" Samsung display with the stand is 16.46" tall.

Dimensions (W x H x D)

Product Dimensions With Stand

21.56" x 16.46" x 8.13"
