email from substack to Rcn account not being forward to iPad
I have subscribed to a free newletter hosted on substack. I do not have a substack account. The email address for the free subscription is an RCN (new Astound Broadband) address. If I log in to my rcn email portal, I see the email went to spam. Within the RCN mail portal, I added the receiving address of the newsletter to my contacts and then moved the messages from the spam mailbox to my inbox. I also deleted all spam filtering from this account.
Rather than use the rcn mail portal, I have this email account set up on my iPad. But the messages do not show up on my iPad (and my iPad shows no spam/junk folder). Should the messages just appear in my inbox on my iPad? I have tried to resync/refresh the mailbox on my iPad. I have closed out the mail app on my iPad. I have restarted my iPad. Still, these particular emails does not show up.
Substack says that I could change some setting in my substack account, but I don't have a substack account - I just signed up for a free newsletter - no substack account required.
The iPad is running ios 15.5.
