Troubleshooting Hung iPhone:

If you have just updated your iPhone, and are hung, then try clearing the space. Internal space you cannot do. So, see if you can clear what is called "Other" or "System Data". See if it them works. If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support
