The whole remote may need to be replaced. That is an expensive accident.

There’s a newer model now, many say an improvement. And no glass parts!

If you insist on the black remote, then you have to shop alternative resellers.

There are silicone cases for the various models Apple remotes, for households where dropping items on hard floors happens often.
