I am not a google expert, but from what I could find, you can try this:

Open Google Chrome on your iPhone or iPad

Tap the three vertical dots icon - It will open a drop-down menu.

Tap Recent Tabs on the menu - It will open your Recent Tabs page, and show you a list of all of your recently closed tabs.

Tap a website under the "Recently closed" heading. This will restore the tab and open the selected website.

  • Alternatively, you can tap Show Full History here. It will open your entire browsing history on a new page. You can tap any website here and open it.

I hope this helps. If not, try the Google help page, https://support.google.com/chrome/?hl=en#topic=9796470

I use google chrome sometimes on my iMac & this has happened more times than I want to admit...lol But....if you click on an empty space of the Chrome bar and click on Reopen Closed Tabs. All your lost tabs will be recovered.

I hope this helps. I only use Chrome occasionally but maybe google community website could help if that doesn't; https://support.google.com/chrome/community?hl=en
