Icloud backup lost

Hello everyone.

I was freeing some space in my iphone 7 plus. After that I opened my whatsapp but it got crashed suddenly. After that when I tried to restore my chat backup from iCloud it didn’t showed anything. Now when I access icloud backup it does not show anything. All my previous Icloud backup has been lost suddenly.

note: I had turned off my icloud backup since last 4 months.

kindly provide me a solution on how to retrieve lost iCloud backup as I had very important chats in whatsapp.

In their Note, it mentions you must have iCloud Drive turned on, and have enough available storage in iCloud and your iPhone (among other requirements). The following guides should help:

Dear TammyW_03,

After updating my iphone to IOS 15.6, when i opened whatsapp it suddenly crashed. After I reopened it, a text appeared on screen that you should renistall whatsapp in order to use it. After reinstalling whatsapp when i tried to restore my backup from icloud, the text appread on phone showing that no backup found. When i checked the icloud it was empty. Even my mobile data including every thing just vanished. I was left with whole 4.97 GB of space but that was not the case before updating iphone. I don’t understand what happend here.

how all my data lost in iCloud including every thing.

also i have tried all these steps even icloud files restore and there is nothing there and also nothing on the recently deleted folder in icloud.
