I purchased a license for MS Office, will it also migrate to the new MacBook?

The license for stand alone Office will not migrate. Per Microsoft's long standing policy, a new computer requires a new activation.

You may be able to reuse the existing license as long as not on more than one machine, but you also may need to chat with MS. They no longer do phone activation.
