Why LinkedIn Learning doesn't sync audio

Specs: I'm using an Android TV as a external display for my mac.

YouTube and Netflix audio sync fine. Why doesn't LinkedIn Learning?

I found this online: LinkedIn Learning has more than 27 million users, and 78 Fortune 100 companies take advantage of the platform.

And if macs are truly pro, why are those professional being sidelined?

My expert opinion: Its not a hardware issue, its a driver issue (that's on your end, Apple). Other airplay related audio sync issues are easy to find and are prevalent.

And no, I will not be reinstalling my system to "test" if its on my end. Cheers!

Greetings Dr. Question,

Ensuring audio is in sync with the video you're playing on an external display is important and you've walked through great steps to help isolate the issue. Since you're not having issues with other video and audio content from different websites, that helps rule out any hardware issues with the Mac and and external display.

To confirm, are you using Safari when visiting these websites or a different web browser? Do you notice if the issue occurs if you were to use a different web browser to view the videos? If the issue happens in multiple browsers, you'll want to reach out to LinkedIn for support. You can find their support options in the following link.

If the issue only occurs in Safari, you may find the steps in the following article beneficial. While the title of the article outlines different issues, these steps are still helpful.

Take care!
