ATT Cellular Plan Ready to Install - How do you permanently stop this message?
every few hours I receive the notification my ATT plan is ready to install on my iPad mini 6th generation. How does one stop this message? I don’t want an ATT plan. The message is the result of looking at plans in the iPad setup under cellular data area. Once you look at a plan, it doesn’t matter which provider, the iPad commits you to that provider and continuously sets up the plan. Even when you get a different plan entirely, the iPad is still committing you to the first provider you looked at.
A hard reset is not a solution. It doesn’t work and is a big pain.
BTW. Once you receive the notification that plan is ready, the plan activates and billing starts If the user touches anywhere on the message. Canceling the plan just starts the whole cycle over. I have been charged twice now for activating ATT plans I never agreed to. This happens even when you already have another plan.
Neither Apple or ATT can help. So, I turn to the community.
