I have given my daughter an iphone6 and am trying to set up her email. I set her up an apple id on family sharing last year but did not set her up an email. I have forgotten her password and the password reset verification requires a verification code sent to her email, which I cannot set up! Is there another way to reset her password so I can set up her email account?

If she has 2 Factor Authentication enabled, she can use Account Recovery. The Recovery Process is an automated process and the length of time it takes can vary a lot. Apple ID Support can only answer your questions. They can't intervene in or speed up the process. The article below has some suggestions to shorten the time the process takes.

can't you access her emaill via the web mail client ?
Thank you for your suggestion but I'm afraid I'm not desperately competant at these things and don't know what that is or how to do it!!
