802.11ax has an alleged maximum theoretical throughput of 14 Gpbs using its maximum four MIMO streams. Actual realized throughput is more likely to be less than that; perhaps a tenth as fast. Much faster than Gigabit Ethernet though.

This is what I'm accustomed to seeing on mine, but it's with an older 802.11ac router.

Couple things to note about WiFi routers:

-the max speeds are mythical in nature and can never be achieved in real life. A large number of test reports I have seen don't even achieve those speeds sitting right next to the router. Basically a lot of hype to get people to spend more money.

-the total data speeds that they claim are also for multiple streams. What they deliver to a single device varies dramatically from one vendor to another.

-second, the ultimate limiter of any network speed is what your ISP can deliver to your home. Also, again their max speeds are somewhat mythical in nature as well.

Bottomline, you may have a 1000hp sports car, but if your stuck in a traffic jam it doesn't do a whole lot of good.
