MacBook Monterey PC keyboard icon

I have a MacBook pro with the latest Monterey. After one of the latest updates some genius at Apple decided to make the keyboard icon the same for internal Mac and external PC

Before the update the icon used to be have GB for internal and GB(small PC) for the external PC keyboard.

I called Apple support and I was told that this is the new design and there is no plan to fix it.

I was wondering if together we can put some pressure on Apple to revert this annoying change.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.4

There are quite a few people who for a wide range of reasons want the flags back or at least more distinctive icons.

The only pressure we can put on Apple is exactly what you can: bug report and/or feedback.

If you wish to do so, please tell Apple how you feel. But don't expect this to be changed quickly if at all.

This is an extremely annoying regression. My MacBook is a tool, I might appreciate the looks, but my priority is usability. Besides, there is plenty of space to differentiate between GB and GB-PC in an icon, even if black and white.
