Hello. I have a brand new PTP700, which is not working in Monterey.
Neither the Printers&Scann nor the P-Touch Editor sees the printer.
The printer is well connected (it mounts as a USB drive with the windows installer)
I tried two USB cables.
Tested in two Macs, one Intel, and one Macbook M1pro
The firmware updater utility also says: "printer not found."

Sorry for the troubles, I have found a few resources that state it is only compatible with earlier OS versions:

Don’t see any support for Monterey in these articles, and I don’t have this model of printer to test with.
Hope that’s not the case though!
Contact Brother, about your issue with your Brother Printer!
The Firmware is not, or maybe the issue on this? Maybe the Driver?
Thanks, there is no way to contact Brother; they only have automated answers.
The printer works fine in an older mac (Mojave) with the P-Touch Lite app (which does not work on BigSur/Monterey)
And according to their support site, no drivers are needed for Big Sur and Monterey.
