Brother P-Touch PTP700 not working on Monterey

Hello. I have a brand new PTP700, which is not working in Monterey.

Neither the Printers&Scann nor the P-Touch Editor sees the printer.

The printer is well connected (it mounts as a USB drive with the windows installer)

I tried two USB cables.

Tested in two Macs, one Intel, and one Macbook M1pro

The firmware updater utility also says: "printer not found."

Thank you

Hey there!

Sorry for the troubles, I have found a few resources that state it is only compatible with earlier OS versions:

https://www.brother-usa.com/products/ptp700

https://support.brother.com/g/b/sp/faqend.aspx?c=as_ot&lang=en&prod=p750weas&faqid=faqp00100080_000

https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=p700eus

Don’t see any support for Monterey in these articles, and I don’t have this model of printer to test with.

Hope that’s not the case though!
